The ta7900fg is a 5 V voltage regulator with watchdog timer. The ta7900fg is designed for microcomputer systems. The ta7900fg products an output voltage of 5 ± 0.25 V without need for adjustment from its accurate reference voltage and amplifer circuit. At power-on, The ta7900fg outputs a reset aignal to reset the system. The ta7900fg will also output a reset signal when the 5 V output voltage drops below 92 % because of disturbance or other problem. The ta7900fg also incorporates a watchdog timer for selfdiagnosing the system.
