The XC6401EE20DR is a highly accurate, dual, low noise, CMOS LDO voltage regulator. Performance features of the XC6401EE20DR includes low output noise, high ripple rejection ratio, low dropout and very fast turn-on time. The XC6401EE20DR includes a reference voltage source, error amplifier, driver transistor, current limiters and phase compensators internally. The XC6401EE20DR current limiters foldback circuit also operates as a short protect for the output current limiter. The output voltage for each regulator is set independently by laser trimming. Voltages are selectable in 50mV steps within a range of 0.8V to 5.0V. The XC6401EE20DR is also fully compatible with low ESR ceramic capacitor, reducing cost and improving output stability. Applications are (1)Mobile phones; (2)Cordless phones and radio communication equipment; (3)Portable games; (4)Cameras, video recorders; (5)Portable audio equipment; (6)PDAs.
