The TC74VHC540F is an advanced high speed CMOS octal bus buffer fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology. The TC74VHC540F achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent Bipolar Schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. The TC74VHC540F is an inverting type. When either G1 or G2 are high, the terminal outputs are in the high-impedance state.
