The T8502EL2 is a single-chip, twochannel, m-law/A-law PCM codec with filter. The T8502EL2 provides analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion. The T8502EL2 provides the transmit and receive filtering necessary to interface a voice telephone circuit to a time-division multiplexed system. The T8502EL2 is packaged in both 20-pin SOJs and 20-pin SOGs.
