The LT1624CS8 is a Sense Amplifier. The LT1624CS8 simplifies the design of high performance, controlled current battery charging circuits when used in conjunction with a current mode PWM controller IC. The LT1624CS8 regulates average output current independent of input and output voltage variations. Output current can be easily adjusted via a programming voltage applied to the its PROG pin. The applications are : (1)High Current Battery Chargers; (2)High Output Voltage DC/DC Converters; (3)Constant Current Sources; (4)Overcurrent Fault Protectors.
