The ams1117-adj is a 0.8A adjustable/fixed low dropout linear regulator. The ams1117-adj has been optimized for low voltage where transient response and minimum input voltage are critical. Applications of the include: High efficiency linear regulators, Post regulators for switching supplies, Battery chargers, 12V to 5V linear regulators and Motherboard clock supplies.
